About My Work

Hello! I’m Olivia Moosey, a Chicago-based writer and content creator with a background in journalism and a strong interest in culture, entertainment, and audience storytelling.
I earned my B.A. in Journalism from DePaul University, with minors in Public Relations & Advertising and Communication & Media. My work blends journalistic curiosity with marketing awareness — exploring how stories, media, and cultural moments connect with audiences in meaningful ways.
During college, I helped found and lead DePaul’s CHAARG chapter, planned community events, and contributed entertainment and culture writing for The DePaulia and StudyBreaks Magazine. Through these experiences, I developed skills in research, storytelling, collaboration, and audience-focused communication.
Today, I’m pursuing opportunities in content, social, and communications roles where I can combine storytelling, culture, and creativity to help brands and organizations connect with people.

MISSION STATEMENT
As a proud member of the disability community, I bring a perspective rooted in empathy, accessibility, and inclusive storytelling. I’m passionate about creating content that helps diverse voices feel seen and valued while fostering connection through thoughtful communication.
My experience spans wellness, entertainment, pop culture, and theatre, and I’m continually curious about exploring new topics, industries, and stories.
